Revenue Share
We believe that people who spend time on Terrain are generating value for us. And, we believe they deserve to be compensated for it.
Members who engage in positive behaviours on the platform, like engaging with other users, completing courses, asking and answering questions, all earn Peak Points for their actions. These are then paid out in USD at the end of every month.
ADHD-friendly Interfaces
Online learning interfaces are notoriously bad. We’ve invested significant time and research into developing a learning interface designed to help increase focus, particularly for individuals struggling with ADHD and other forms of neurodivergence that make traditional learning more challenging.
As a result, Terrain’s course completion rates are over 67% higher than the industry average.
Accessible Pricing & Scholarships
The online business industry is notorious for inflated pricing. Courses priced upwards of $1,000 are a financial stretch even for freelancers in North America, let alone those in other parts of the world.
Terrain is committed to making freelancing more accessible. Each courses cost approximately $2,000 each to produce, but Terrain members can access our entire catalogue (currently 37 courses) for $49/month.
Terrain also offers scholarships: In 2022, Terrain donated $235,000 in scholarships to members of the Freelance Coalition for Developing Nations.
